Using self-regulation, the teacher would provide examples of what is consider physical activity: playing basketball, dancing, running etc. The teacher would encourage the students to engage in a physical activity of their choice and engage in it three days a week for one month. The students would keep track of their activity in a chart provided by the teacher. Every week the students would briefly report to the teacher their progress. The teacher would keep encourage and motivate the students to do their chosen activity every time they meet in class. After a month, the teacher would ask for a written report.
