I chose to write this paper on photography because it’s something I’d be happy to do for the rest of my life as a career. It’s not a career where you have to do something a certain way. Everyone has their own touch when it comes to photography and there are all sorts of photography fields you can go into so you’re not tied down to taking pictures of just one thing all the time. You could become a nature photographer and capture the beauty of the world, or take pictures at weddings and feel the love flowing through your camera lens. There are so many options to what you can do with this career and that’s the fun of it.

You have to attract paying customers, and you have to keep up with your marketing technique throughout your career. Without customers, obviously you will not make any money. Secondly, you have to have the equipment and know how to use it. Your equipment could consist of a digital camera and nothing else if you wanted; Or it could consist of lighting, props, etc. anything you want. Thirdly, you also have to edit and enhance your photos. You need to know how to use photo editing software to make your pictures ten times better. Another vitally important part of photography is choosing a subject(s). Your subject(s) can be anything: a tree, a person/people, a bridge, a building, etc. The subject(S) is what you have chosen to be the most important part of the …show more content…
You have the option of taking additional photography classes and furthering your educations. If you’re opening your own photography business, it will probably be a good idea to take small business classes or obtain a master’s degree in business. The annual salary range for this career is about $48,123 to $68,422 for a regular photographer. There are different types of photographers, depending on what you want to take pictures of. Wedding photographers can make over $100,000 a year. You can be a photographer almost anywhere you want. I would like to be located in Pennsylvania, Virginia, or North Carolina. In Pennsylvania, the annual salary is about $61,696, North Carolina is about $57,654, and Virginia is about $59,126. You have to think about transportation to where you are working, will you need a lot of gas? Living expenses and if you’re starting your own business, then advertisement, a website, employees (if you need them). It’s a lot, but people love their pictures and the money won’t be too hard to earn
