The Phoenix (by muggles) was created through Greek mythology, is a long living bird that has the ability to be reborn from its ashes after it dies. Since it is the bird of fire it is often associated with the sun. In most cases Phoenixes die in flames and or combustion, their ashes falling to where ever they stood.
