Philosophy Of Working Together Essay

Working together is understood to be the difference between success and failure, depending on how the team utilizes their time and communicate among each other. Our team consisted of four students with different culture, religion and personality, making planning, collaborating and contribution more arduous. The team’s mission was to present a topic in health care specifically “whooping cough” to the class. Our main objective was to be candid about our ideas and feelings.
In every team there must be a team player, so I volunteered to be the leader to implement my work ethics. First, I recommended that we agree to work together efficiently, listen to each other and to achieve our goal quickly. Divided the work among the team members and everyone accepted their role. We have set a timetable where expectations have to be met. In order to meet the objectives of achieving our shared expectation the team must be effective in pursuing their goal. My philosophy is that organization and commitment produces success without them nothing is achievable. I had made daily phone calls to each member to ensure that everyone was in the right tracks. Therefore, I advised my team to meet weekly in the library, but one member said we should meet twice a week. Because of the time conflict three of us decided to meet on Friday while the rest of the team met on Tuesday. All the team members showed up for the meetings and participated in discussion.
