Be a Servant Leader. True leaders are always disciplined; they hold themselves to higher standards while enforcing them from an authority position. I see my leadership position as a starting point from in which I can serve the Soldiers as well as their Families under my command. A NCO is aware of the challenges that will emerge daily. Be humble enough to accept that being a leader does not guarantee you to have all the answers or know exactly when to seek improvement by yourself.
