I have a similar situation as you about choosing nursing as our career due to being affected by our relatives.
I totally agree with you about the philosophy of nursing in patient-centered care. Also patient should be involved in this patient-centered care in order to get a better outcome. In addition, respect is two ways. We need to respect our patients. Also, we also require our patients who need to respect our professional.
