An Angel’s Story
In the year of 2012, my brother was no longer at home with his family, but he spent months at camp where he was trained for the army. He felt very fortunate that many people were sending him letters and other goods while he was away. That is not the case for everyone though because many deployed soldiers do not get the support that they deserve while they are away. How would you feel if you had to spend months or even years over sea and you hardly got any letters or care packages sent to you?

The first program is for veterans where they give food and other things to veterans that are poor or that cannot afford those things. Their most popular program is for deployed soldiers, and in this program the organizations sends care packages and other goods to those who are deployed over seas. The next program is just for those soldiers that are wounded. In this program Soldiers’ Angels volunteers their time and helps out at medical centers that hold the wounded. The last program is for the families, and in this program they provide love and support to the family of soldiers. (Source …show more content…
With providing support to people through difficult times, Soldiers’ Angels has made a great impact on our soldiers. Some of those soldiers that have been helped by Soldiers’ Angels have donated money and their time to the organization so they can give back. In 2015 alone, Soldiers’ Angels sent a total of 18,000 care packages, 1,600 baked goods, and 150,000 letters to 27,000 different soldiers. Soldiers’ Angels have sent a total of 780,000 care packages and 1,700,000, letters to a total of 700,000 soldiers. (Source 7) A veteran named Greek Proverb has been helped by Soldiers’ Angels and he stated, “The heart that loves, gives the most.” Soldiers’ Angels is a very beneficial organization, they have helped so many people by providing the people that fight for our freedom with great support while they were deployed. The only goal of this organization is to make sure that the soldiers know that they are loved, and that on goal is why this organization is remarkable. Soldiers’ Angels is always finding ways to help others. They have volunteered their time to help out at medical centers that hold wounded soldiers, they make it their duty that no soldier goes unloved.
