Philosophy of Education Philosophy of education is focused on the key items to better instruct the student. These items include, the purpose of education, nature of learners, curriculum, instruction methods, classroom management, Assessment practices, and professional relationship with family and community (Code of Ethics for Educators. Purpose of Schooling
For an educator, teaching involves several objectives. In order to best instruct a student, the educator must take a few things into consideration. Since times have demanded changes in the education system, the educator must develop a plan that meets the student’s needs. One thing to consider is the environment in which they are learning in. The ethnical diversity to which students are confronted to that might interfere with their philosophy. The size of the classroom will dictate which and how lessons can be taught. If the school I located in a big city, teachers have the opportunity to visit places on field trips or such, while as a small town could be limited but also have its opportunities.
Nature of Learner
