This is the story of Medusa. She suffered many injustices in her life and the misfortunes continued to pile up. Everytime she tried to escape one misfortune another would come upon her. His gaze just so happened to fall a little beyond Oceanus, to his daughter Athena 's temple. This is how he first saw Medusa, a priestess in a temple of Athena. Once he laid his eyes upon her he could not look away, everything she did was beautiful. This is how he knew he had found the someone he was looking for. She had all of the right curves and edges in all of the right places. Zeus could not refuse himself the pleasure of swooping down and laying his hands upon her beautiful body. He barely got his hands on her when the back of his knees started to buckle and his legs started to shake. He could no longer control himself. Zeus proceeded to insert his thunder sausage into the young maiden. She protested and fought against him, but was unable to fight off the much larger and more powerful god. Once he was finished, he cleaned himself and left promptly hardly pausing to look back and the crying girl. Zeus went back to Mount Olympus, where he crawled back into bed with his wife Hera. He left sweet Medusa, who he had just impregnated, laying on the ground of Athena 's temple softly crying for help (Cartwright).
Medusa was found in the morning by her two sisters Sthenno and Euryale, who were also priestesses. Her sisters were immortal, blessed but Athena as high ranking priestess, whereas Medusa was not yet. Her sisters were able to use their magic to help her recover from the injuries she sustained from Zeus’s rough and forceful ways. While Medusa was in agonizing pain, Zeus was up on Mount Olympus sleeping with his sister-wife Hera

Ever heard of the Blair Witch that haunts the Black Forrest in Maryland? It’s based on a true event close to The Crucible, written by Arthur Miller, that happened in 1692.
