Car companies, such as Tesla, are adopting clean energy and using electricity to power their motor vehicles.it has been said that electric vehicles, “can reduce emissions by 80 percent compared to gasoline” (Car Emissions and Global Warming, N/A). Although Goldstein (1995) present ideas by Mahler and Winnicott regarding infancy and fused self-object, a different perspective is that, infants possess inborn awareness of the mother (p. 131, 134). This is because speaking from personal experience as a mother, one can hypothesize that infants have a sensitive sense of mother from birth, infants can differentiate a mother’s smell from those of others, and infants are sensitive to brightness although they have limited vision. One can also hypothesize that infants have some ability to track moving objects at close range, infants appear highly sensitive to pain, from the very beginning.…

Harun Farocki’s “Parallel vol 1” exhibits how the digital representation of water, trees, fire, and clouds in video games have progressed over time. The video highlights the transformation from simply pixelated squares to realistic movements. The advanced CPGs have made distinguishing a video game from film difficult, as seen by the side-by-side moving clouds example. Farocki argues that computer images seek to relieve film of its duty to depict reality. This argument is similar to that made by Bazin regarding photography and painting.…

Heron (1999) describes learning as having four distinct yet interdependent forms which inform, support, and enhance one another. The first form is practical learning, which entails learning how to do something and is manifested in the competent practice of that skill. Heron describes the first level as the physical level of learning, where one has to show the willingness to learn. The second form involves conceptual learning, which entails learning about something (for example, someone saying “I want to learn about leadership”). This is the intellectual, verbal, and conceptual level of learning, pronounced in statements and propositions.…
