In lines 1–4 he says "my father brought the immigrant bundle of desperation and worn through that and anxiety as he stumbles tumble out distractedly;” this shows that the father is unstable living in Europe. Then in line 9 the son says "I who tear money at leisure by the roots,” this is an exaggeration showing that he does not have to work hard for his money that he has. The sun does not have any worries because he loves the country he lives
