The Phillips County Regional Medical Center is a country-owned health care facility. The facility attended regularly scheduled meeting to keep Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) active. The fire department was supplied a pre-incident planning of the facility including maps and material data sheets. A “Pre-Fire Facility Walk-Through” was conducted one month prior to the incidents. The evacuation plan of the facility was updated 6 months earlier and agreement was confirmed on relocation sites and supplies. The staff also participated in a mock drill.
