Upon receiving a Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship, I would feel very privileged and touched to obtain the honor society’s support in my post-secondary endeavors. It is an amazing emotion for me, personally, to know that there are always networks of support out there that assist students who have excelled academically and wish to continue their educational pursuits. Financial assistance is greatly needed as I continue my education. My family is able to provide limited financial assistance as two siblings are attending college as well.
