However, high school in china is not as the as it in America. In our high school, we do not have any clubs or organizations, and we have a head teacher for each class to take care of everything happened in that class. I was neither in charge of anything that involves leadership nor learned any leadership skill. I could not pretend to be someone who could satisfy all their needs in order to be a good leader. Also, leading a team is a process of seeking common ground while reserving but minimizing differences. This is an effective rule for any relationship, no matter who you are working with. If people have no common ground, they will not efficiently work together, but if there are not any differences raised, they will not make any improvement. Everybody is unique and has his or her own ideas. Instead of trying to please everyone to keep the team together, a good leader should be able to negotiate with others and use those differences to create a comprehensive proposal.
After I had this epiphany, I am really looking forward to having more real leadership experiences in the future. I will probably still at Johns Hopkins University working on my master degree in 2020. I am planning to be an ambassador for international office or run a club. In order to achieve those leadership goals, I need to be more outgoing in socializing. Also, I am a person who is always having trouble to make choice. I need to be more decisive, to continue to enrich myself to be able to make clever choices, and to learn how to negotiate with others to get a win-win
