Why would I like to be a member of Phi Lambda Sigma??
“Over the past two and a half years, promotion of leadership, networking and personal development have been a huge part of my pharmacy school journey. I have challenged myself with tasks such as attending conferences, organizing events, managing a team and simply by challenging myself to escape the imaginary boundaries of my own cognizance. Each of these voluntary obligations have sharpened my leadership skills and broadened my network. I have learned how to delegate tasks, become focused and organized, promote personal growth among myself and others while also learning to challenge my colleagues. Phi Lambda Sigma’s mission includes all of the targets of my personal goals as developing leader.

Partaking in the student council organization has allowed for personal and leadership growth, and is comprised of plentiful downfalls and successes. But I believe that it requires missteps and prosperity to learn and grow as a leader. In terms of strength, my skills in proper and adequate delegation tasks have contributed to the successes of my class. However, delegating and simply telling others what to do is not leadership, it is the act of collaborating with one another to execute an event or achieve the goal. Ultimately, I believe that it is my ability to uplift and empower others as my greatest asset.…
