QUALITY ASSURANCE:-quality assurance department is kept in industry only. Q.A persons check the manufactured drug substances quality in every step of manufacturing. Q.A departments maintain records and send in to Q.C department. In Q. A. department persons responsible for manufacturing of quality products.
16. PHARMACEUTICAL BIO-TECHNOLOGY:-In pharmaceutical Bio-technology department pharmacist is responsible to produce vaccines and drugs. For example, penicillin obtained from Penicillin notatum
In DNA technology the artificial insulin is produced. It is helpful to cure type-2 diabetes.
In plant tissue culture, cultured products shows high quality and quantity, virus free plants, seed less plants hybrid varieties, essential plant secondary metabolites are produced by this method.

For example, suspensions, emulsions, syrups, and elixirs.
