Phantom Killer Monologue

“I didn’t want it to end this way.” The voice suddenly cut in “You always knew it would Mark, ever since you felt the joy of being able to play god.” “But I never thought I would be here, laying on the floor of this old dump. I wanted the rein of The Phantom Killer to end on a high note “To end on a high note?!” the voice laughed. “You messed up, now you’re dying. Explain to me how we even got here.” Well it all started when I moved here, to Chimdale, West Virginia. We were in Chicago before, so to go from there to here was hard …show more content…
There was a family asleep in their house. They were just like my family except no son. So I decided that maybe they didn’t deserve a daughter either. The little girl was about seven years old and she was very pretty. Her long amber hair flowed like a beautiful brown river that smelled like lavender. My knife came down swiftly and silently. That beautiful hair was stained crimson as I smothered and stabbed her. After that I left the house for the parents to discover their baby girl dead. Then I felt a feeling that was almost painful, I needed to go back to Chimdale. It took a while to get back but I did, I had no idea that they had been planning for me since day one. I saw my old house as I walked to find someone else to murder. It was old and rotten; moss was growing everywhere. After I killed the small family of 4 I went back to my once gorgeous home. I opened the old rotten door carefully and saw a shadow moving in the dark. There were a lot of the shadows, they were human. As I walked in I saw someone run at me and I instantly took out my knife and stabbed him in the stomach. Just as I did that I ducked and I heard a gunshot. I ran to the noise and once I got a clear view of the man I slit his throat.

I had been worrying about Charley for a while now. he had been jabbering on about this so called ‘third level’ at Grand Central and a place called Galesburg, Illinois, I told him it was a waking dream wish fulfillment, but now I’m not so sure, he explained everything in such precise detail that it sounded so realistic, I had been talking to him for a while now, and he had told me about Galesburg as he was there as a child and absolutely loved it, I have no idea why he didn’t just move back, but that is none of my business anyway.
