Why Pfeiffer is number 1 Many schools have good and bad reputations for many different things. There are definitely strengths and weaknesses for both larger and smaller Universities, but with smaller schools those strengths overpower any of those weaknesses. Pfeiffer University in Misenheimer NC, stands out because of its open-door policy, the internship opportunities, and the president is more connected with the students. The first reason that Pfeiffer University is a unique place is because of the open-door policy that it has. The open-door policy is used by all faculty and staff. The 2014-2015 Pfeiffer University Undergraduate Catalog reveals that the statement before is true by stating: “The open door is a long-standing tradition at Pfeiffer University.
