Pez Encounters

As a lonely pez container, at a local Dollar Tree, I wish someone would buy and take care of me versus being in a plastic box, for eternity. Did I mention i’m claustrophobic! Well, I was watching the crowd walking through the local shop, back and forth throughout the day, until I spotted a little boy staring at me, with glimmering eyes.
“Mommy, mommy, the boy said with excitement,” Can I get this toy, please?”
“Yes, but if you do this will be the only toy you get for the week, Ok.” The mother said with tiredness in her voice, from shopping all day.
“Yes, yes, buy me,” I said to myself, quite loudly, as the boy picks one pez toy to the left of me. “No!” I screamed to the point where he might hear me.
Suddenly, the boy puts the other pez toy
