“I take it this isn’t your neck of the woods? ”, said Detective Frank as he lead Peyton into the small interrogation room.
Peyton’s eyes scanned the room; pastel-blue walls, crackled cement flooring, a round table, one plastic chair and florescent lighting. Peyton subtlety smirked after noticing its astonishing resemblance to the Law & Order interrogation room.
“Please, make yourself comfy”. Detective Frank motioned Peyton over to sit in the plastic chair. Peyton perceived Detective Frank’s hand motioning to be slightly intimidating, but still friendly and collegial.

He thought.
Peyton entered the room to find Alexa lying on a bed, naked, drained from her terrible actions. She was lying on her stomach, face turned to the door. Shocked at the sound of her voice, Peyton whirled around without any attempt to stay calm.
“You have to be fucking kidding me Alexa, you know I can’t stay with you after what you’ve done.” Peyton fired back at her, anger boiling in his veins.
“You know you can,” she replied, staring up at Peyton, her voice barely a whisper.
Don’t give in Peyton to her lies, he thought. Peyton proceeded to walk away from her, not allowing him to be persuaded by her manipulative words.
“You’ll regret leaving me. I mean hell Peyton; this is your fault in the first place. You never seem to give me any attention,” Alexa

Undercover cops were used to diving in dumpsters, he wiped the spoiled food off the butcher’s knife and bagged it, just another day on the job for the stocky built Irishman, a fireplug, with a relentless pursuit of bad guys.
