Peytone's Traumas: A Fictional Narrative

One week before Halloween, Peytone’s mom, Deby, and dad, Chris, called her to come to the kitchen. Her brother, Luke, was there also. “Do you want to carve your pumpkin before your hip-hop recital?”
“Yes, please.” They carved the pumpkins and Peytone’s pumpkin looked the scariest. Then they went to the hip-hop recital.
When she was dancing, Peytone had to come off the stage because . . . she broke her leg!
Peytone ended up in a wheelchair. Tomorrow, she would see how long she would be in a wheelchair.
The doctor told her she could get out of the wheelchair right after Halloween. She didn’t have a costume. What would she do?
Later that day, her mom said that Peytone had basketball. She went to the game. Peytone tried to do all the basketball
