According the news from the telegraph, 25th SEP, a Hungarian camerawoman was caught tripped refugees who carried a kid when refugees rushed passed her. This woman called Petra Laszlo, works for N1TV. After this issue, she was fired by this Tv station. The N1TV said Petra’s behavior is unacceptable and working relationship was ended (Ensor 2015). She also aroused whole public’s anger, many criticized that she is a racist heartless woman. Few days later, she apologized to the public and said she was just scared when thousands of hundred people rushed to her. However, her apology didn’t accept by public. On Thursday, Hungarian prosecutors said a criminal case for breach of the peace had been opened against her that means Petra Laszlo might face the charge (Phipps & Nolan 2015).

According to Aristotle’s theory, individuals should make ethical decisions from the roles of them. From this point of view, journalists should obey the codes of ethics which are the regulations of their roles. Obviously, Petra Laszlo undermined the regulations about objectivity and independence. Golden mean is the most important section in Aristotle’s principle. Ethical decisions should be neutral instead of deficiency or excess. Petra Laszlo was criticized as a racist by public because her behavior is not neutral.
Kant advocated make decisions from the universal law rather than from the inclinations or purposes. Petra should not show the behavior because of her own scary or preference. Kant also indicated that humanity principle suggested that people should treat others as the end withal instead of a mean of end (Kant 1909, pp.47-49).
