1. Cater to the High End Market – Market Petland hospitality services under a different name to appeal to this market. Provide services like a hotel would, with menu options, turndown service, new bedding daily, grooming/spa, pool access, indoor and outdoor play area and activities. This will target the higher earning pet owners looking to treat their pets when they are not able to travel with them. This option could alienate some customers not wanting to pay as much for these services.
2. Customizable Pet Care Experience – Customers can customize the stay of their pets with an online booking system they can book their pets stay as well as any number of options and upgrades, like a private room, number of walks per day, massage, grooming, manicures

Increasing customer loyalty through this added service will help to create a buzz within there current customer base building a valuable word of mouth marketing initiative. They will also work with their local veterinarians and other local shelter and organizations to promote this new service, as many pet owners ask them for referrals.
Price - The price of this service will need to be competitive against other similar companies, they can increase revenue with offering extra add on services to customers wanting to pamper their pets during there stay. As increase demand for addition services become apparent, Petland can continue to add on more extras.

Conclusion
In conclusion due to the size of Petland’s span, it is important that they provide some product differentiation from its competitors. They have been in business for over 49 years and in that time have developed a strong customer base. They must utilize this base as well as generate new customers with additional services to remain completive in the market.
