Peter the Great was an emperor of all Russia. He was born in Moscow, Russia on June 9, 1672. He was born into a very rich family in Russia. He was the 14th child. He first became emperor at the age of 10 because of deaths in the family. Once he grew up he became very tall at 6’8 and a strong man. His personality was if he wants to do it he is going to do it. And that’s exactly what he did. He was a smart warrior and spectacular fighter. He also did a lot for his country. Peter made schools in his country secular. Secular means non-religious. Peter gained territory from Estonia, Finland, and Latvia. Also next to those accomplishments he secure access to the Black Sea.
