Peter Parker Duality

One thing that can be widely agreed on is that variety exists between people of the human species. Some people look physically different whether it’s through their hair texture, height, or even skin tone. Personality, however, is what truly makes up a person. That is a fact that is exemplified in everyday activities. Oftentimes, even the most attractive person can be seen as ugly upon getting to know them. People across the globe show many behavioral differences that can be shaped by their cultural and socioeconomic influences. However, all humans have a nearly identical genetic code. This means they all have similar properties on an evolutionary basis. An occurrence that is less widely agreed on is the presence of opposite characteristics in the same person. This man is more commonly known as the superhero Spider Man. In the 21st century series remake of Spider Man upon being bitten by a genetically modified spider Parker gains spiderlike abilities and reflexes (Riami, Spiderman). This allows Parker to take on a superhero role and fulfill his fantasies of being the alpha male society values.
