In New Jersey, the first bilingual version of “Peter and the Wolf”, Sergei Prokofiev’s musical symphony for children, with Carlos as the Narrator, performed by the Bay-Atlantic Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Maestro Jed Gaylin. Also on September of 2013 published his first poetry book "El Dín, Dón, Dán, De La Ilusión-Poemas de Amor, Traición y Olvido"(Poems of Love, Betrayal and Oblivion).
Actor, Director, Producer and writer, Carlos Espinal, developed a career of over 35 years, working in all areas of the performing arts in English and Spanish, both in the United States as in his native country, the Dominican Republic and elsewhere in Latin America.
Carlos first moved to New York in 1984 and his first leading role was “En La Ardiente Obscuridad” (In the Burning Darkness) by the Spanish author, Bueno Vallejo, directed by Francisco Morín and performed at the old Casa de España (House of Spain) in New York City, Lourdes Ayala, and producer. Later, he became a member of the Children’s Theater group “The Bubbles Players”, performing the lead role in the bilingual play “A Bird Named Cu” at New York University and all around New York City.
