Peter Bohlin’s and his associates are always praised with the word “elegant” with their designs. Bohlin’s designs turn out to be graceful which appeals to the eyes with the natural indigenous looks. A well respected architecture critic named Ada Lousie Huxtable once stated on Bohlin’s Apple Store design in New York Fifth Avenue, “Who could have imagined that... the General Motors Building that brought mediocrity and a dismal, redundant plaza to the most elegant part of New York’s Fifth Avenue would be redeemed by the Apple Store’s magic crystal cube on a newly elevated plaza, turning disaster into triumph?” Huxtable was amused in how the mediocre building was able to transform into a elegant building that brought pleasure in the 5th avenue
