PETA was co-founded by Ingrid Newkirk in 1980. She has helped lead PETA for more than 35 years. She has traveled internationally to help spread the word about PETA and animal rights. If I had to choose which one I think is best, I would have to choose PETA. Although their approach is harsh and controversial sometimes, it works. It makes people look at their ads and think and that is the purpose of them. Also PETA advocates more for all animals while the ASPCA is more for domesticated and farm animals. I believe that we need to be fighting more for all animal’s rights and not be picking and choosing which ones have rights.
