There are many things that aggravate me, makes me upset, or just down right mad. These things are referred as pet peeves; consequently, I have several of them. My pet peeves are squeaking erasers, people gossiping and people talking loud. In most classrooms, I notice that students use pencils with jacked up erasers. The noise of erasers just irks me. The sound of them are just awful. It sounds as if someone is scratching nails along a blackboard. I just cannot take the noise at all. Whenever I hear the squeaking, it seriously drives me crazy! Typically, these types of letters are written in response to articles in such publications, or in response to some local issue that might be also connected to a national one. Readers also respond to the inclusion of specific ads, especially their design or content, in publications. So, to begin with, consider an issue about which you have a strong opinion or “pet peeve”—something that bothers you or something that you think ought to be changed. Eventually you should also read carefully through one of your chosen publications—the one to which you will address your letter.…

Bold statement V Fidget spinners, despite their slightly interesting looks, are complete disruptions from all classrooms. Only in some cases are they ever used to help someone focus, and even then it draws attention from around the room if it makes noise or looks flashy. Some students may be more focused on the idea of a small toy that spins rather than the importance of some school work. Along with the distraction that fidget spinners have, they’re also dangerous in some cases. Fidget spinners are sometimes used to do tricks, and that also causes a distraction, but if they’re the spiked fidget spinners that have even one sharp point on it, then the fidget spinner could be thrown the wrong way and potentially poke out someone’s eye or stab someone in it’s crossfire if the trick goes wrong.…

I think the teachers are right at that point because it’s hard to take control of a classroom when almost all the students are just being noisy and getting up of their desk. The teacher should give tell those students they are getting bad grades for being annoying or take them out the class. At this point I don’t see it like the teacher is wrong, the students are. I heard some teachers hit the students or sometimes just because a student its being noisy the whole classroom have to pay for it too and it shouldn’t be like that.…

Fidget spinners are becoming a very popular thing to have. Kids bring them to school to help them ‘concentrate’. But they aren’t always a good thing because kids get distracted by them, more than they use them to concentrate. Students in the classroom have been bringing more and more fidget spinners in with them as time goes on, they have become an interruption to the learning environment. I don’t think that they shouldn’t be banned from classrooms, they should just be allowed for certain students.…
