Each year brings new ways of conducting digital marketing efforts. Some are enhancements to existing systems and some are entirely new applications. This is great as most if used right will end up increasing brand awareness which generates new leads which translating into higher profits. Who doesn't want more MONEY!
Here's the problem, not all new ways are used properly. When not used correctly the business (your business) not only loses the product/service benefit but may ultimately put its brand, leads, and profit at stake.

I opened an incognito window and entered the URL. Unfortunately, I was presented with this popup immediately. What's most disappointing is that this site offers marketing advice. I guess, there is more than one way to skin a cat and this is not my choice.
Pet Peeve #3
Last pet peeve, has to do with LinkedIn. As you know LinkedIn like Twitter has their own DM version. In LinkedIn, it is referred simply as "Messages" (Did you notice the recent update they did? Not bad). I use it a lot and so do many of those I'm connected with. So, what's my pet peeve?
I think those individual and even worse group messages sent to sell/market a service/product I for one never said I was interested in are so unprofessional. Sometimes, like Twitters DMs I get these messages right away. Sometimes, months or years of being connected to someone and not even a "Hi" is shared between us and I get a sales message out of the blue.
