Ace Ventura: Pet Detective slot preview
Playtech’s last big slot release – Top Gun – may not have hit the heights expected of it, but their next big hit is sure to be a success. Unlike with Top Gun, Playtech have been given permission to use Jim Carrey’s likeness in an upcoming Ace Ventura: Pet Detective video slot, based on the hit movie from the 1990s, as well as its sequel, Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls.
About Ace Ventura: Pet Detective
Right from the start you can see that this video slot is going to be quirky, it is going to wacky, and it is going to be just a zany as the two movies upon which it is based. The slot will feature 243 paylines spread over 5 reels, which is unusual for a Playtech developed slot. Moreover, the slot will also be bristling over with special features.
Gameplay and wagering
We don’t know exactly what players are going to be able to wager in Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, though we do know that they will be able to adjust the value of their coins. Given that the slot is a 243 ways to win game, you can expect minimum wagers to be worth between 25p and 50p a spin. Paylines are non-adjustable, of course.
Special features
What Ace Ventura: Pet Detective will have, is a stack load of bonuses. Multipliers will be present in this slot

The non-progressive slot already has a YouTube video preview available online. Playtech keeps everything cloak and dagger regarding their new slots, but we know from past experience that when they do choose to announce them, that they are often online within a matter of weeks, sometimes days. Our guess, is that you can expect to be able to get your hands on the Ace Ventura: Pet Detective video slot before the year is out, which will make it a welcome Christmas present for many players. Failing that, New Year is the next likeliest release date for this
