When it comes to keeping your pet entertained, it can be hard to know where to start. When you first bring your pet home you will want to stock up on toys, chews and other things to make them feel at home. As well as providing comfort for your animal, toys and chews can also stop them from chewing things around the home and generally being disruptive. There’s nothing worse than returning home after a long day at work to find that your puppy has destroyed your furniture!
Dog’s are notoriously full of energy and most use their mouths to explore their environment and this, coupled with boredom can manifest itself in disruptive behaviors such as destroying your favorite pair of shoes. Of course you can’t always be around to keep your pet entertained, but you can limit the amount of time that you leave them on their own and this will limit their destructive behavior. If you have no choice but to leave your pooch alone for a day then you need to be prepared to provide them with plenty of things to keep them entertained, this includes chews and toys.
