Pet Adoption Rates

There are more cats and dogs in the world than you can possibly imagine. Shelters are packed with animals all the time strays, lost and sometimes they just need a home.

About 1,020 animals are adopted per year. Some of these animals are dogs and puppies. Others animals are cats and kittens. The rest are all the other animals. This year they are holding an event called Paw on the Table. This event takes place on Tuesday, April 19. You Dine at one of their participating restaurants and 15% of the money goes to the HSTV care for some animals in need. There are more cats and dogs than shelters can hold. There are about 7.6 million cats and dogs total in Minnesota. About 7.3 million cats and dogs are in animal shelters.
