Peru is located in the continent of South America on the pacific coast, South of the equator. The name Peru came from an Indian tribe. It is translated to the land of abundance and also the third largest South American country. Peru has opposite seasons in comparison to the United States , so if you plan to take a trip during the summer the actual climate in peru will be winter. The first Peruvian civilization settled in guanta, the year 1000 B.C. The Civilization of the time were the Moche. The Moche were not the only tribe after a while.
