Persuasive Writing Guidelines

1. My thesis makes a fairly strong point, but it does not flow well. I need to add details that make a more seamless transition from the introduction to the thesis itself.
2. This essay is organized by listing the opposing points first, refuting them, and then listing the points for my side. I believe that this helps make the argument stronger.
3. I have used specific quotes from official companies and organizations, congress included.
4. I use transitions between my main ideas in all of my paragraphs except for the first and third paragraph.
5. My conclusion is a powerful ending to my persuasive essay. It addresses the audience and restates my thesis.
