Transgender, what is that? Well, let me tell you the definition. Transgender is denoting or relating to a person whose self-identity does not conform unambiguously to conventional notions of male or female gender. My definition of transgender is basically a man that is now a female and female that is now male, nothing or relating to a person whose gender identity does not correspond to that person’s biological sex assigned at birth. Now let’s argue!
The question is should transgender students be allowed to choose a bathroom? Right now my position is affirmative. I ask myself should transgender students be allowed to choose a bathroom, and there are a couple of reasons why they should be able to choose their bathroom.

Now I will be discussing should transgender students be allowed to choose a bathroom. My position now is negative.
It’s Saturday and you and some of your friends are in the mall doing a little shopping and you guys decide to go and eat. You are the one who decides to go to the restroom to wash your hands. Now in the middle of you washing your hands you hear someone else enter the restroom you happen to look in the mirror and you see a full lady in the restroom. Of course this is going to catch you off guard and make you think, “Why is this lady in the men’s room?”
My opinion is if you are female that is now a male you go to a MALE bathroom and if you are a male that is now female you go to a FEMALE bathroom. I even also think that they should have their very own designed bathrooms for transgender students just so it will not be such an issue. Think about it this way, you have a male restroom, female restroom, and also those family restrooms. There is a possible way for them to make some type of restroom for transgender students. Yes I know this may be a little embarrassing seeing someone enter and leave a “transgender” restroom but it’s the truth. You are what you are and you’re letting people know who you are and what you truly are. For instance you are in the grocery store and you see someone you think is attractive so you decide to attempt to get to know the person and you do not know they are a transgender. There were young men who attended the school along with Gavin and they knew he was a transgender and they would be afraid of their safety when he would enter the bathroom.
