Pets. Some who are smarter than others and some who are just straight up stupid weather it’s a dog, a horse, or in my case a cat. Why do we even put up with pets? Why do we love these furry creatures so much? Well, because they are so cute. Like how my cat would lick my face in the middle of the night just to wake me up to get him some food. Or how my cat would brush his fur against my legs constantly just for the attention. We all love our pets to bits and we wouldn’t want anything to happen to them. BUT what we don't realize is that around the world millions even billions of animals suffer at the care of reckless owners. It gives me such grief and anger to see poor defenseless animals, who are God’s creatures being treated like that. It makes me think What exactly do we get out of this? New clothing styles? Fur coats? I just hate the thought of imagining my own pet let alone all animals in general being harmed to fill our needs of new fashion trends? Or handbags? Does it hurt you to know that 50 million animals are being skinned alive and killed every year?
