This should be a safe town to live in, but with people like Tom Robinson raping girls, that will never be obtainable. It is without a doubt Tom Robinson’s doing because of all of the evidence stacked up against him. Tom Robinson has caused harm to our client to an unspeakable amount and because of this he should be prosecuted and charged with the crimes that he committed. He thought this was the perfect time to attack her because no one was around that time. Tom was watching her almost everyday or the days he went to work. On November 21st he saw that the Ewell’s place was quiet. He saw this as the perfect opportunity to attack Mayella. Some might think that Mayella set everything up by sending the kids away, but she was just being a nice older sister and treating her siblings to ice cream. When Mr. Ewell saw what Tom did to Mayella, he didn’t chase after Tom because he was in shock about what happened to his daughter. They also would like to put their main focus on how Tom is right handed and the bruises were on the right side of her face. People must be wondering how this could happen, but it is very simple because of what Kaelyn said earlier. Tom backhanded Mayella Ewell so hard that it left a giant bruise on her right side of her face and gave her a black eye as well.
