In this advertisement the name ASPCA instantly makes them credible. We know and trust them as individuals who work with the community to keep animals safe and protect their wellbeing. Because they have an established name they can use this as a way to show us that this donation will do good for society and will benefit more than just the consumer. Also the name of the campaign, “We are Their Voice” shows that the ASPCA wants nothing more than to be the voice of those who cannot speak. When viewing this image we draw the conclusion that animals need our help because they cannot speak for themselves and that a small donation can go a long way. The most memorable part of this advertisement is that so little money can actually help them. It is certainly unbelievable that only $.60 a day can truly matter in the fight to rescue animals from their prisons created by abusers. This advertisement matters because animals provide so much to those that love them. I know from experience that after a hard day there is nothing more rewarding than a wagging tail, to image that not every animal lives as blessed as my dog makes me want to change that.
