By presenting ourselves with goals, we are challenging ourselves to test beyond our limits, and pursuing our dreams. As kids we set goals for ourselves because we are trying to figure out who we truly are within. We are highly motivated when we are finding ourselves, when testing our limits, we are more self aware of ourselves, and are willing to do whatever it takes to find out who we really are. This can help us better understand the several journeys or quest that may come upon throughout our lives, since they all happen by setting goals for ourselves.
