Does that mean you take the horse to the slaughterhouse. That horses loves you and did not mean to hurt you. Ones you fell down the hoses looked at you and tried to help you up and you just smack the horse in the nose. The horses jumps back and when you try to get back on the horse he moves back because he doesn't want you to hit anymore. Then that is when you are thinking to take him to the slaughterhouse. The next morning the trailer shows up and tales the horse and loads it up with hundreds of other horses. That is when you noticed you did something wrong. The trailer already left and you have no idea where it is going and you already miss your best friend.”why kill them when they are loyal to you?” you love the horse and you just sent it to the slaughterhouse. Fear runs through their veins. As it should, because the method used to exterminate these animals, after the long journey, are far from painless and sometimes they even remain conscious during the dismemberment process (ASPCA).…

An essential ingredient to improving animal welfare and human health is to farm slower and smaller. The World Animal Protection and the Farm Animal Initiative have developed a project called the Model Farm Project in effort to promote humane farming internationally. The WAP link, “Farm Animal Welfare,” argues that humane farming is both profitable and sustainable. The WAP asserts that keeping farms moderately sized creates jobs, reduces pollution and environmental damage (and expensive clean up efforts), and raises profits because healthy animals are less costly to maintain. In terms of animal welfare, the key is allowing animals to behave and eat as normally as possible.…
