 Introduction o Catchy Start: Laughs, smiles, and love are the greatest pleasures in life we live for. However, life is not always perfect, there are imperfections, a combination of happiness and suffering. As much as we hope for endless happiness, suffering is inevitable, it will always be existent in life. As John Lennon said, “Life is a like a flower, you’ve got to let it grow.” o Big Question: Why do people suffer? o Big Question Matters: Every human being is on earth for a purpose and the good and evil in our life has a meaning. Therefore, it is important that we take time to understand the reason why life encompasses both good and bad and why we have to endure suffering. Why do we suffer? o Jesus emphasizes suffering as a way to gain spiritual salvation, Gita emphasizes suffering as a consequence of attachment, and the television show …show more content…
