Specific Purpose: I would like to persuade my peers that financing education is important.

I. Education has often been referred to as the key to success.
II. It has opened so many doors for student across the United States.
III. However, paying for a great education is not the easiest task for a student.
IV. Financing education can be extremely useful in many different ways.
Thesis: Recent studies have proved that financing education is important; therefore, I want to persuade you that financing education is mandatory in the United States.

I. Financing education teaches responsibility which is something that should be drilled into teenagers at a young age.

2. The common name for Mississippi’s financial aid is Fafsa.
3. Financial aid has kept several students from taking out student loans according to the US History website.
(Transition: Last of all, there is another reason why financing education should always be allowed in today’s society.
III. The long term results of financing education are amazing.
A. Opportunities for global action are available as stated by The Brookings Institute.
1. The Brooking Institute believes this year the world should agree on an ambitious global plan that will end poverty assure that children will have access to high-quality basic education.
2. We have the ability to build on progress that was made since the beginning on the millennium.
3. In the next few years, more progressive global action will be visible.
B. According to Issues and Controversies, the cost of a quality education can be fairly expensive.
1. However, financing a great education leads to better jobs.
2. Better jobs lead to more opportunities.
3. Eventually, more opportunities can result in more money in the future.
C. Also, knowing that they have the ability to finance their education can keep students from worrying and stressing about
