4 February 2014 While getting ready to watch your favorite sport live and you are very excited for the competition between the two teams. You think they are all very talented hard workers, but then suddenly you learn that one of the players has been using a performance enhancing drug to help him illegally get ahead of the competition. Do you think this is wrong or do you think they should let him or her continue to play without consequences? This Is wrong and I will tell you why it is so wrong in many ways. First of all a performance enhancer is any substance that an athlete may take to improve their performance. There are many different kinds of enhancers that effect the body. Here are some common enhancers and their effects on the body. You will find that there are many risks when taking these drugs too. Anabolic steroids that can increase muscle mass and the strength of the player, but the risks of taking this drug are pretty intense and change from male to female. You may have the records in the books, but they mean nothing if you haven’t really earned all the titles and awards fairly or naturally. People should not be inducted into the hall of fame if they have been caught with enhancers. One of the arguments against this is that people go to the halls of fame and they learn about the rich history of the sports. Famous baseball players like Sammy Sosa or Barry Bonds imagine that they used and we never put them in the hall of fame and people could never learn about them in baseball history. My counter argument would be that no if they had used and didn't earn their spots in the hall of fame then they aren't worthy enough to be in the rich history of the
