When talking about refugees, the risk isn’t how many come into the country, it’s how few are radicalized. Former President Obama said that 99.9% of refugees are peace-seeking. If 99.9% are peace-seeking, then that means every 10,000 refugees taken in will contain about 10 radical people. The attacks in Paris were carried out by less than 10 people. 137 people were killed in Paris on November 2015. 137. That terrorist attack was coordinated by seven people. There’s no need for us to put our civilians’ lives at risk just to feel like we’re helping people in need.
