You are now a murderer, responsible for the death of somebody’s child. If you’re lucky enough to survive the crash, there’s nothing you can do. Death is irreversible, as are the memories caused by such a traumatic experience. The sound of screams, both yours and your victims, will plague your thoughts. The blood that was spilt, due to your stupidity, will haunt you every night. Never will you be able to get away from

This theory of murder by Buss brings to the surface the complexity of the human mind, and explains this through the medium of murder, making the book a great piece of literature to help discover more about the human mind and its development over time. Throughout the book, Buss describes how anyone, our neighbors, our friends and the ones we know could be that murderer, and all that separates us from a murderer, is the fact we choose to act differently upon those natural killing instincts. But are those instincts actually controllable? What if these evolutionary instincts, supposedly thought as controllable, are just a ticking time bomb and will eventually explode when the situation arises? These questions are yet to be answered even after extensive research and multiple purposed theories.…
