Audience: You are speaking to a classroom full of college freshmen. It’s 8 AM on the Saturday morning of welcome weekend. It is a mix of men and women (women make up the larger majority in true CMU demographic information). They are from all areas of Michigan and state that border Michigan and their religion varies. They all have a high school diploma.

Topic: How to be a “successful” college student at CMU! This includes all the fun tips you might hear about if you take an FYE course (going to office hours, showing up, taking notes, and etc.).
