“ According to UNESCO, 61 million primary school-age children were not enrolled in school in 2010.” - Dosomething.org. When we get all the education in the world, it sucks to hear that millions of other children aren't enrolled in school. Especially when this generation of children will be adults and be the one who going to change the world education is so important to the children. But to encourage or better, get children to school, It doesn’t only need time and lots of money, roughly “$39 billion a year” - globalcitizen.org, it also needs the help from the community and yourself to help them out. As a student, I’m limited to the number of things I can do, but I can help them by involving in community work, spreads information about the issue …show more content…
Doing these works make me feel better because I know that doing these things will help others. First of all, I will donate my books, old or new, donate my utensil, donate stuff that I don’t need anymore. Second, I can join a trip that creates donations for kids. At CIS, we have Kickstarts where we collect donation money from class and give it as scholarships to children to help them with their education and I was involved in Kickstarts last week where we paid for their ride to the school and we handed out scholarship, leaded games and have fun with the kids. Lastly, I will use my education to teach other. Last year, my GIN club built a school for kids in Dak Lak and I got a chance to visit that place and taught the kids for a few days and that experience was phenomenal and I will visit there again and teach them …show more content…
What could be better than cookies and sweet! At CIS, everyone loves to eat. So to get some money for the children that need it for education. So I come up with a 3 sweats menu that would fulfill everyone's needs. First thing on the menu is the classic chocolate chip cookies, who doesn’t like chocolate? The other sweet is one of the best candy in the world, caramel cubes. And the last thing is cupcakes, blank and simple. A bake sale is tough to do, it takes a lot of money and time and effort in making the treats but it all good when I know that it is going to help others. I’m planning the price of these treats going to be around ten to fifteen thousand Vietnam dong base on the quality and prices of the ingredients that I'm going to buy.
