Who here has experienced being bullied? in my next question, if you’re brave enough - raise your hand if you have suffered depression?
Don’t worry you’re not alone - 14.8 Million suffer from depression and that is only in America. depression is the leading cause of disability and over 800,000 people die from suicide every year - worldwide. surprised? well, you shouldn’t be. my guess at least one or two in this section has suffered from it. or at least all of you because of sir amir and readings.
But anyway, there must be some purpose of me opening this up because i too have been bullied and i too have been depressed
I never really opened my bullying experiences in detail because even if it was in the past, it still hurts

being alone gives you time to know yourself more.
What I do is i find the half truth in their insults and turn it into motivation yes, you have a wart on your nose and he called you beehive for it but its not a beehive. its a skin disease get over it that can be healed and its gone now so get over it. yes, you’re bad at sports but its not your fault because it isn’t your forte, so what? I’m good at art and science. yes, you’re not good in public speaking but you can improve! you can never be better if you drown yourself in their words, you swim with it. don’t let it get to you - you’re not swallowing the words they tell you.
These criticisms, insults, fear, bullying - yes, they are painful but these sufferings will bring you to success. Of course, once you’re done with your observation and isolation period, you then start to become closer to the people that gives you the most support in your life. don’t say none - because you have at least one person - if you do - you’re either just avoiding them or you’re not seeing it. that is the most realistic and best advice i ever got. thank you for being mean to me it may sound a bit narcissistic to say this but also thank
