How are you? Have you had your breakfast today? Okay, before getting started I would like to read an interesting story to you which is a hint on what I am going to talk about. So, here we go, “When you wake up in the morning, Pooh,” Said Piglet, “what’s the first thing you say to yourself?”
“What’s for breakfast?” said Pooh. Why do you think Pooh said that breakfast is the first thing in the mind? I would say that’s because breakfast is the most important meal of the day! As you grew older you will always hear this famous quote on breakfast, “breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper”. Don’t you think so? Okay, here are some of the reasons on why you shouldn’t skip your breakfast from now on.

This is because, when you skipped your breakfast you will feel hungry easily and when you are hungry you will become irritated easily. The hunger will distract you from focusing on what your teacher is saying and you might start to feel sleepy too. This is because your body energy is drained to even work in order to regulate blood and oxygen to your brain. Being hungry in the class means you will keep on thinking on what to have during recess rather than focusing on what year teacher is saying in front. Thus, you will miss out important information because you are distracted sleepy and week.And when you are weak you cannot concentrate and definitely. Imagine and how skipping breakfast can cause diabetes? So, why and what is diabetes? You have skipped your breakfast in the morning and did not get to eat something during recess or lunch time your glucose level will drop excessively. Glucose is our blood sugar that comes from foods we ate and used to supply energy to our body. Your blood sugar level will rise dramatically when you eat after skipping your breakfast, and if this keep on happening, this will lead to diabetes. When you have diabetes, you will have to watch what you eat, you have to eat on time and you will have be on medication too. Imagine you will not able to eat your favourite food anymore? Do you want that happen on you? You will have to limit your playtime too as you have to watch out your sugar level from decreasing dangerously. You will also need to use a special equipment to take blood from time to time to monitor your blood sugar level. Diabetes is an illness that cannot be cured and you can only control it by eating your medicine or it might lead to a more dangerous
